These terms govern your use of Scene Forges. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
You own your writing. Scene Forges does not claim ownership of any screenplay, character, story, dialogue, outline, or project material you create or upload. We claim only the limited license needed to store, display, and back up your projects to provide the service to you. Your story stays yours.
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in details secure. You agree to provide accurate information and to be at least 13 years old, or the age of digital consent in your region.
You agree not to upload material you do not have the rights to, not to misuse the service to harass others, not to attempt to access other users' data, and not to interfere with the service or its advertising systems. Scripts and files you share through Pro collaboration are your responsibility.
You are responsible for the files you upload to the Vault. Do not upload copyrighted material you do not have the right to store.
Pro collaboration features let you invite collaborators as editors or reviewers. Project owners control access and roles. Only the project owner needs a Pro subscription; invited Free users can participate in a Pro-owned project according to their assigned role. Collaborators do not gain ownership of your screenplay. When Pro ends, collaborative access is removed but the owner's screenplay remains available on the Free plan.
Scene Forges Pro is a recurring subscription processed through Wix, available at $10/month or $96/year. Billing begins when you subscribe and renews each billing cycle until canceled. You can cancel at any time from Settings and keep Pro access through the end of your current billing cycle.
Canceling Pro stops future charges. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law. Canceling Pro does not delete your scripts; you keep writing on the Free plan. If you have more active projects than the Free plan allows, you will be asked to choose which remain active; the rest stay safely archived and readable.
We work to keep Scene Forges available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may change, and we may add or remove capabilities over time. We are not liable for data loss caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, so we encourage you to export your work.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
The Scene Forges software, name, and design are owned by us. Your screenplay content remains yours as described above.
The Free plan is supported by advertising, including third-party services such as Google AdSense. Ads appear on public pages only (such as the landing page, templates, and guide) and never inside your screenplay, dashboard, vault, or exported PDFs. Pro subscribers get an ad-free workspace. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements.
Scene Forges integrates with third-party tools for payments, advertising, and import/export formats. Their terms and privacy policies apply to your use of those services.
Scene Forges is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

We use essential technologies to keep the app working and advertising technologies to support the free service. Ads appear only on public pages like the landing page, templates, and guide, never in your editor or exports. You can change these anytime in Settings.
